This intensive four-day T3 prepares ACT candidates to deliver Apple’s macOS Support Essentials 10.14 course. The T3 includes these activities:
- Lectures from an Apple Mentor Trainer on ACT and LearnQuest policies and practices
- Hands-on student exercises that reinforce practical skills
- Feedback from the Mentor Trainer and peer ACT candidates on training ability, presentation skills, and understanding of the course content
- Group discussions on technical content and presentation skills
Objectives
Upon completion of the APL-MAC101T3-140 macOS Support Essentials 10.14 (Mojave 101) T3, ACT candidates will be able to:- Set up a classroom server.
- Complete all of the exercises from the macOS Support Essentials course.
- Deliver at least four assigned lessons, including demonstrations, from the macOS Support Essentials course.
- Present additional topics as assigned.
- Provide constructive feedback on student presentations through written evaluations and classroom discussions.
- Learn about the ACT program.

- Prospective Apple Certified Trainers who would like to be considered to teach macOS Support Essentials 10.14.
Prerequisites
You should do the following before you attend the T3:- Read the Apple Pro Training Series: macOS Support Essentials 10.14: Supporting and Troubleshooting macOS Mojave
- Attend a macOS Support Essentials course.
- Pass the mac Support Essentials 10.14 Exam.

Day 1- T3 introduction
- Mentor trainer and student introductions
- ACT program overview
- macOS Support Essentials 10.14 course overview
- You set up your classroom environment
- You get any necessary passwords from the mentor trainer
- You access appropriate classroom systems and practice classroom server setup
- You teach your pre-assigned lesson. Your pre-assigned lessons come from your mentor trainer before the T3 starts.
- You may receive additional assignment from your mentor trainer during Day 1.
- You and other participants give feedback on the day 1 presentations.
- Participants teach assigned lessons.
- The mentor trainer gives mid-T3 verbal evaluations.
- The mentor trainer assigns additional lessons to participants as necessary.
- You and other participants give feedback on the day 2 presentations.
- Participants teach assigned lessons.
- The mentor trainer assigns additional lessons to participants as necessary.
- You and others participants give feedback on the day 3 presentations.
- Participants teach assigned lessons.
- You and participants give feedback on the day 4 presentations.
- You give participants a final verbal evaluation.
- Participants who have passed the teach-backs are permitted to take the Trainer Exam
