UMTS RAN Signalling advanced course focuses on explanation of all main procedures and their importance for effectiveness and quality of specific telecommunication services. During this course participants will get to know the functionality of radio protocols (RRC, RLC, MAC) together with the Radio Access Network signalling protocols such as NBAP, RNSAP and RANAP.

Target Audience

The course is designed for employees of telecom operators, who need to gain knowledge on signalling in UMTS Radio Interface and Radio Access Network.

Prerequisites

Participants should have basic knowledge on the UMTS system structure and functionality and have participated in WCDMA Air Interface course or to have equivalent knowledge.
