Continuous Delivery provides git-based repositories and issue tracking, delivery pipelines, a web-based development environment, and tools to help you understand your development process.
In this course, you will learn the concept of Continuous Delivery and the delivery pipeline, describe how to create a toolchain, and discuss how to add tools to a toolchain. You’ll explore the capabilities of Web IDE: Edit code features, code completion and run bar, Cloud Live Sync, and features for Node.js applications. Learn about Git repos, issue tracking, and the Git repositories role from GitLab. You’ll determine the differences between continuous deployment and continuous delivery, and explore the Garage Method toolchain. Lastly, practice creating a toolchain and adding tools in a lab environment.
