This webcast provides a technical introduction to the IBM DataPower Gateway Appliance at the Version 7.5.0 firmware level.
IBM DataPower Gateway is a purpose-built security and integration platform for mobile, cloud, application programming interface (API), web, service-oriented architecture (SOA), B2B, and cloud workloads.
This webcast explains to developers and administrators what IT functions a DataPower appliance can perform for a business, and where the appliance might reside in the business’ IT topology. It uses an example message flow to illustrate some of the basic functions and uses of an appliance, and explores several of the typical use cases in which the appliances are used.
This webcast is a prerequisite for some follow-on DataPower courses.
